Hip Pain? We Can Help.
Hip pain from FAI, labral tears, osteoarthritis, bursitis, or piriformis/DGS can limit your movement, strength, and daily activities. Early assessment is key to reducing pain and restoring function.
Common Causes
Hip pain may develop due to several factors, including:
- Structural changes – Hip FAI or labral tears can result from joint repetitive stress to a certain portion of the joint causing the feeling of “impingement” you may experience.
- Degenerative changes – Osteoarthritis (OA) is a really common condition and occurs in most of us. The word itself says it all: “osteo” means bone, “arth” means joint, and “itis” means inflammation. Whether your pain comes from years of repetitive use or inflammation in your joints, OA can cause stiffness, swelling, and flare-ups that limit your movement and energy.
- Overuse or repetitive strain – Activities like running, cycling, or prolonged sitting can irritate tendons and muscles around the hip.
- Greater Trochanteric Bursitis – Reduced flexibility of the lower limb and postural muscles paired with weak core muscles, glutes and
- Trauma or previous injury – Falls, collisions, or previous hip injuries may predispose you to ongoing pain.
